Ron Morford began his career at Metcut Research in 2008 as a Project Engineer. Ron came to Metcut after working for 20 years in the automotive sector, both passenger car and heavy truck. In previous positions, Ron has been responsible for both product design and manufacturing activities.
Ron earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo in 1987. Later, Ron earned his Master of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in 1996.
In his role a Project Engineer, Ron oversees the manufacturing, testing and reporting of metallic and composite materials. Some of the various types of testing include load control, strain control and torsion testing.
