Lee Woody began his career at Metcut Research in 2012 as Specimen Preparation Manager. Lee came to Metcut after working for 20 years in the automotive, heavy industrial and aerospace manufacturing sectors. In previous positions, Lee has been responsible for both product design and manufacturing activities.
Lee earned his degree in CNC Metalworking and Machine Design from the Delta College in 1996.
In his role as Specimen Preparation Manager, Lee oversees the manufacturing, process realization and quality control of metallic and composite test specimens and test frame tooling. Lee has a diverse background in CNC machining and programming of standard metals and exotic aerospace alloys.
